The Kircher Network is preparing for a packed October 2025 with three key events that will bring together leaders, international officers, faculty, and staff from its member institutions. Below are the details of each, with times, locations, and purposes.

Meeting of the Group of International Relations Officers:

When: October 9-11, 2025

Where: Munich School of Philosophy, Munich, Germany

This annual gathering of International Relations Officers will align strategies across Kircher institutions, share best practices, and foster closer collaboration in international education and relations.

Kircher Network General Assembly

When: October 10-11, 2025

Where: Munich School of Philosophy, Munich, Germany

The General Assembly is the main gathering of Presidents and Deans from Kircher Network member institutions. It is the occasion to review the network’s progress, set collective priorities, and strengthen the Jesuit identity, mission, and collaboration among member universities. Special Feature: On October 10 (the day before the Assembly), there will be a celebration marking the 10th anniversary of the Munich School of Philosophy, to be attended by Fr. General Arturo Sosa.

Canisius Formation: Course on Identity and Mission (Second Edition)

When: October 21-23, 2025

Where: Azpeitia, Loyola (Basque Country, Spain)

This immersive formation course is designed for faculty and staff from Kircher Network institutions who wish to deepen their understanding of Ignatian identity, spirituality, and mission in Jesuit higher education. Participants will gain a foundation in key Jesuit characteristics and develop a sense of belonging to both a European and global Ignatian community.
