This is the first time a pontifical university offers a licentiate in Judaic studies, a new category of canonical License established by the Congregation for Catholic Education of the Holy See in October 2020.
The Licentiate offers clergy members and laypersons a solid preparation in Judaism, from historical, philosophical, religious, theological, and cultural perspectives. On April 21, 2021, a webinar will be held to present the programme.
