The Kircher Network International Officers’ group gathers international counterparts from the different member institutions created to find collaborative activities in the context of international education. Its primary focus is to benefit from the competitive advantages that we have as a network.
The group’s first meeting took place on the 19th and 21st of September, where funding opportunities were discussed, collaborative projects were presented, and the steering committee was created to organise the subsequent encounters and actions of the group.
The utter purpose is to enhance the ties inside the network, to function as a single body and make the most of the talent among the Kircher Network.
To contribute to the internationalisation of the member institutions in the European and global contexts through developing collaborative projects and mission-driven activities that take advantage of synergies and add value to the universities.
The group has been working on the preparation of an Erasmus+ BIP Programme International Training Staff Week titlled: “The Challenges of Inclusion in Europe: the Contribution of Jesuit HEI”. The training week will take place at the University of Namur from the 2nd to the 6th of July.
The group of Senior International Relations Officers has been growing since its first meeting in September. This growth has been in terms of the number of member institutions as well as collaboration projects. In its firts meeting, there were representatives from 12 member universities and institutions from the Network. Five more institutions have joint the group since then.
