Theology under the Test of Covid-19: Pontifical Gregorian University´s Online dialogues with Science

The Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University launched the course Theology at the test of covid-19. Dialogues with science to encourage a frank and unbiased dialogue between science and the “science of faith”.

The course will address these questions through a comparison between a renowned virologist, Dr Ernesto Burgio, and a group of specialists in the study areas of theology: biblical theology, the theology of the Fathers, fundamental theology, dogmatic theology, moral theology. “Science and theology choose to confront each other”, explains Don Dario Vitali, course coordinator and director of the Department of Dogmatic Theology at the Gregorian University, “knowing that they have to learn from each other’s listening.

Twelve online lessons will take place from November 5, 2020, until  April 15, 2021. The course is open to the public: medical and paramedical staff, teachers from schools of all levels, and to those who are personally and in their communities in search of meaningful answers.

A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the course. Registration to the course will be open from October 26th to  November 5th on the website here
