On November 16th, the HEST Cluster on Christian-Muslim relations, successfully launched the third edition of its online course for the Fall 2023 semester, titled “Theology of Christian-Muslim Dialogue”. The First session, introduced by the coordinators Professor Jaime Flaquer and Maryam Ballout, featured an introductory presentation on the “Basics of Islam”, followed by a reflective Christian approach to understanding Islam. The session ended with a thorough discussion where participants exchanged ideas and posed questions related to the presented topics.
The course brought together students and professors from a diverse range of institutions in Europe, Latin America, and Lebanon. They are mainly coming from “Universidad Loyola, University of Innsbruck, Munich School of Philosophy, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, ITESO, and ESADE, UNIGRE”.
