Kircher Online Lecture Series: “Resurrection in the Russian Literature (Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Pasternak)”

Russian literature is filled with the experience of death. But is it true that it is “depressive”, “hopeless”, or “dark”? Starting from the fact that Easter is the main feast for Russian Christians, Dr Lipke will examine which role the resurrection plays for some of the greatest Russian writers of the 19th and 20th century.
