In light of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, we regret to inform you that our network has decided to cancel the II International Symposium on Secularity “Do we need religion? Contributions of spirituality and religion to the post-secular and communitarian societies” of the HEST Cluster in Secularization originally scheduled to take place at the University of Saint Joseph – Beirut this December. However, we are pleased to inform you that we have secured an alternative venue for the Symposium.
The Symposium will now be hosted at the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule – Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt, Germany, and is scheduled for May 30 and 31, 2024. We thank the University of Saint Joseph for its efforts and the Sankt Georgen Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology for hosting the event.
On the website of the event we will be updating all the information about the event.
