Loyola University Andalusia´s study abroad experience

On February 9th, the Loyola University Andalusia welcomed 100 international students from 21 countries who have chosen the university for a study abroad experience this Spring semester. Loyola University has also received students from other Jesuit universities in Spain through the CRUE-SICUE exchange programme.

The university has also launched a pilot experience with the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland (UK) to allow six students from this British university to have a virtual study abroad experience at Loyola. From their country of origin and though video conferencing, they will attend Spanish lessons at Loyola University. The academic experience will be enhanced with online activities organized with the students from Loyola and virtual cultural visits to enjoy a cultural experience in Andalusia and feel integrated into the university community.

With these initiatives, Loyola University Andalusia continues offering mobility experiences adapted to COVID-19 times and keeps innovating in virtual mobility and COIL experiences (Collaborative Online Integrated Learning), such as the one they are developing with Loyola University Chicago and the multilateral exchange of IAJU Magis Exchange.
