The Global Citizenship Curriculum Project by the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) Task Force on Global Citizenship introduces a Global Citizenship Module to cultivate a global mindset among students across Jesuit institutions worldwide.
After a successful pilot module, with more than 500 students and 36 teachers from different countries, the Task Force calls again for participation of students and teachers for this new module.
Students will participate in dialogues on global citizenship with partners from other parts of the world and will be provided with specific readings to complete the development of the project.
Module members will be able to apply to attend the IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows Program, which will take a group of students to Rome in June 2024 for further dialogue and a study tour.
The Project is inviting faculty participation for the fall 2023 semester. Faculty teaching in any discipline will have the opportunity to:
-
Embed a module on global citizenship into their existing classes;
-
Enable their students to engage in online dialogues with students around the world;
-
Encourage their students to apply for the Global Citizenship Fellows Program, which will take a select group of students to Rome in June 2024.
